We were asked to partner on the production for a one off Fashion film with Disney in collaboration with French fashion house Balmain. With director Femi Oladigbolu at the helm, we shot in Cape Town over 2 days in April. The result was 'The Circle of Light', which will premier at the Royal Albert Hall before a screening of The Lion King, and will go on to feature in Times Square, New York, and Tokyo, as well as numerous social channels. Alongside the main film, we ran various BTS units, making films for Vogue, New York Times, ABC, Essence, Harpers, Numero among others, and had a photography unit, with Joel Anderson as lead photographer. The stills have led the campaign, and gone on to feature in countless high fashion online publications. Disney and Ife Oladigbolu provided the incredibe score.
We have been making content for RYOBI for many years. We make their TV commercials, online content, stills and social content for all territories across EMEA across the full year, resulting in 1000's of deliverables across numerous territories including peak time UK DRTV. Each year we shoot for a month in Cape Town with 3 units - Main, Stills and Social, and we create almost enough assets for the year. It is a huge logistical undertaking that has gone from strength to strength over the years that we have been guardians of their assets. During our years, RYOBI has grown exponentially to become a powerhouse in the Powertool world, as well as taking huge shares in Hand Tools, Gardening Tools, Floorcare, Cleaning, Automotive and more... We are very proud of our relationship with them.
ITV asked us to make a film to reveal the cast members for the all star reunion of the reality juggernaut Love Island. We took all the campaign stills, and shot the cast members and Maya Jama on the red carpet in a top secret studio. Frank Sinatra provided the sound track!
We were asked to create a Christmas campaign for homeless charity Centrepoint which would be a counterpoint to a traditional campaign, flipping traditional expectations, and leaning in to the darker side of the season, which is even harder for the most vulnerable. Lorraine Kelly provided the Voiceover. Winner: LBB Immortal Award
Pet Insurance company Waggel asked us to come up with a concept for a pet in jeopardy, but to infuse with comedy, and have cinematic sensibilities. Our dog in shower concept was the result, and a scale size Art Deco murder scene was built! The spot proved popular on the trades, and got a 5-star review and won Pick of the Day on David Reviews.
CSR agency 'We are Futures' asked us to make content for the Samsung 'Solve for Tomorrow' initiative. The initiative challenges thousands of 16-18 year olds, and 18-25 year olds to come up with technological innovations that potentially solve real world problems, with inclusivity at its heart. To witness these great young minds was inspirational to all of us.The films played out across mutiple platforms, as well as an amazing run on the Piccadilly Circus 'Piccadilly Lights' main digital OOH screens. We also created the main content that each entrant would access throughout the competition.
We created a campaign for Decathlon, the Sporting giant - celebrating those little victories that come with the start of a sporting journey. The campaign was well received, and we were asked to create their Summer Campaign - 'Sports just wanna Have fun' based on the Cindy Lauper track
