We have been making content for RYOBI for many years. We make their TV commercials, online content, stills and social content for all territories across EMEA across the full year, resulting in 1000's of deliverables across numerous territories including peak time UK DRTV. Each year we shoot for a month in Cape Town with 3 units - Main, Stills and Social, and we create  assets for the year. It is a huge logistical undertaking that has gone from strength to strength over the years that we have been guardians of their assets. During our years, RYOBI has grown exponentially to become a powerhouse in the Powertool world, as well as taking huge shares in Hand Tools, Gardening Tools, Floorcare, Cleaning, Automotive and more... We are very proud of our relationship with them.

hard floor cleaner

Who says that cleaning floors isn't fun. The hero of our RYOBI Hard Floor Cleaner spot certainly doesn't think so... a daunting task turns into a fun journey around the house, until an errant Action Man threatens to upset proceedings. Luckily it was just a toy! Our Hard Floor Cleaner spot has been travelling around Europe on TV, Digital and on all social platforms.

brushless swift clean

Based on our Creative, this concept was that MUM and DAD were like spy parents from the movie Spy-Kids. They have special vision for identifying stains, and won't stop cleaning until 'No Stain is left behind'. The piece has been translated into 10 different languages, and been seen on TV, Digital, Social, as well as used in Digital Stills.

brand ad 'lessons'

This was Ryobi's first big brand asset since 'Neighbours' around 4 years ago. Based on a Father/Daughter relationship from a McCann creative, it shows a Dad teaching his daughter about the Ryobi range. It is currently released on TV in France and digitally elsewhere, but set to release on TV in the UK, and will travel extensively after that

advanced stick vac

RYOBI are a powerhouse that have significant presence in many sectors. We were asked to create a piece for their most advanced Stick Vac, and give it a Dyson-esque feel. They spot has had uptake from all regions across EMEA, and been adapted into 15 languages for multiple digital and social channels.

adventure range

Ryobi wanted to get out of the house. Metaphorically and literally. We were asked to show their tools in the context of two young adults on an adventure. McCann did the creative, and this resulted in climbing mountains, travailing beaches, and building a festival Moto X track! The logistics were pretty out there...

half time hero

Ryobi wanted a DRTV campaign with more heart and story, and McCann gave us this lovely tale of a Dad getting the lawn done during the half time of a football match. When back, in the nick of time, he looks to his son for affirmation of his great feat, but receives an eye-roll instead. Relatable? We know so...

snow throwers

We ventured to the Arctic Circle in Finland and battled -23 degree temperatures to capture some lovely footage of RYOBI Snow throwers. The logistics of snow, not dissimilar to the sand of a desert, but with a few more layers!
